PS5 Pro keep talking: according to the latest rumors, the console will boast one double the power when compared with PlayStation 5 and two and a half times given the abilities involved ray tracing.
That’s what RedGamingTech, head of a YouTube channel specializing in technical analysis and hardware news, commented on the rumors recently reported by Foxy about the PS5 Pro’s specs.
“I just talked about it, my sources claim that the PS5 Pro will have twice the power of the PlayStation 5 at standard performance and two and a half times the power of ray tracing,” the Youtuber wrote.
“The mid-gen upgrade is probably a new graphics subsystem: Regarding the implementation of ray tracing, I have reported on a Sony patent that uses a completely different technology from the RDNA 2 architecture.”
It is worth repeating that a possible PS5 Pro is still far away: the new console according to RedGamingTech itself won’t come before 2024 or more likely 2025.
So everything is still under discussion and as far as we know the project could take on different connotations or even be shelved.
