The actor who plays the main character of Deathloop, i.e. coltin fact, he posted a tweet with a photo of himself entering a dubbing session with the phrase “Ooooooooooo! I can’t wait to talk about this thing” and a series of hashtags linked to Deathloop.
In response, one user asked, “So a good DLC is coming?” He asked. But Jason Kelley flatly denied:No, a new title. That’s all I can say because of the NDA. “Of course Kelley can’t reveal more because of a confidentiality agreement she has to submit, but her answer raises a lot of questions.
an idea DLC or expansion It would make sense especially for Deathloop, and also considering the way Bethesda works, but the explanation for the fact that this is a new title is weird. It seems really unlikely that this is a new chapter in the series, but the answer may lie in the typical way Arkane presents expansions of its games as real games in their own right.
For example, we saw this with Dishonored: The Death of the Outsider, which for all intents and purposes is sort of a DLC/Expansion but still considered real. separate section, stand-alone. Deathloop could therefore also receive a plug-in of this type, and this may be what Kelley is working on. We’ll likely find out more during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase conference on June 12, 2022.
