Thunderful Games is under development. Four different games from the SteamWorld legend: three of these are expected to be released in 2023.
As we know one of them SteamWorld Headhunterwas announced last November. However, during a financial report, the developers claimed it was just one of four. They have confirmed that one of the three games to be released in 2023 is SteamWorld Headhunter.
The other two games that will be released next year are codenamed Strawberry (aka Strawberry) and Coffee (aka Coffee). The final project under development in 2024 will be released, for now known as Caramel. We know that Strawberry and Coffee are ahead of SteamWorld Headhunter on the upcoming games list.
strawberry It will be a type of puzzle game for mobile devices. Coffee is for PC and consoles and will be a city builder. Finally, Caramel will be a turn-based strategy and tactical shooter coming to PC, console and mobile.
As you can see, SteamWorld continues to offer many different types of games. This is not new, given that the saga has moved from platform games to metroidvania, card games, and turn-based strategy. Let’s not forget that the legend was born in 2010 as a Tower Defense game. Headhunter will instead be a 3D action game.
