Gotham Knights will not include microtransactions and no crossplay support

WB Games Montreal released a new one Gotham Knights FAQ, the new game set in the DC world of Batman. This confirms that no crossplay support and there will be no microtransactions or in-game purchases.

Further, the FAQ reiterates that “to provide players with the best possible gaming experience, the game will only be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC and cannot be used on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One”. However, no more in-depth explanation has been given, so we don’t officially know if older generation versions have insurmountable technical issues.

It has also been confirmed that Gotham Knights can be played alone or in online co-op with a second player. In other words, it won’t be a four-player mode as was originally said.

The FAQ then confirms a fairly obvious set of information, such as during the game we can change the controlled hero on the basis of operations. it’s going to be possible customize heroes with new equipment and weapons as you progress through the campaign. It has also been confirmed that he has no affiliation with the Arkham series or the DC TV series. Finally, to play online – as always – you will need either PS Plus (for PlayStation) or Xbox Live Gold (for Xbox).
