We recently shared our impressions of the Adibou game developed by Wiloki and Ubisoft. The test was done with the help of Leia (5 years old, large department) and Jade (soon to be 8 years old, CE2), whom we asked for their opinion. If the first corresponds to the age range recommended for this educational game, the second is a little further. Frankly, one should not expect a detailed description of his impressions at this age.
Adibu is back! 30 years after the original game, find Adibou and its educational games on smartphones and tablets under Android or iOS (iPhone, iPad). Adibou is a paying game.

What do you think of the game?
Leia : Very well
Jade : Very well
What do you think of the visual aspect of the game? (Characters, images, animations)
Leia : I like the character of Adibu because he’s nice and decides for me when I’m not doing well in training. I love it when a bad guy stops him from eating bees (Editor’s note and all animations in general).
Jade : Adibu looks super funny, I really like colorful images that are constantly moving.
Is it easy to get the game?
Leia : Easy to use Little guys say yes or no even if I don’t know the question well, easy to understand, say am I right or not with the same little man flower.
Jade : Unlike my older sister, I can read so it’s easier for me and Adibu explains it well from the start.
How are the events? Easy hard?
Leia : It’s very simple at level 1 and 2, but a bit difficult at level 3. I don’t always understand the exercise at first, but after that it’s fine.
Jade : Usually it’s easy, but at level 3 I already made a mistake.
Do you think these activities are useful for your work at school?
Leia : Yes, it’s a bit like what we did in school, but not in the same way.
Jade : Yes, especially in French because I still have some problems with the wiring but the calculation is simple.
What do you prefer to Adibu?
Leia : I love making different flowers and going to the kitchen to bake a cake.
Jade : I love growing things like flowers and vegetables to make recipes. And then, in addition, it helps me to do a little rehabilitation for school.

Are there things you don’t like?
Leia : This is where the wicked come to eat the bee honey or the cakes I baked.
Jade : Especially not.
Solution
From the children’s point of view, this remake is a total success. Adibou was the most widely used tablet during the tablet era (installed using Google Family Link). Children happily immerse themselves in the world of a little man in a red hat.
This new play by Adibou seems to offer a remake close enough to the first experience to rekindle parental nostalgia, but modern enough to appeal to children.
