RRQ Akira is the Grand Champion of MPL (Mobile Legends Brasil: Bang Bang Professional League) Season 2 in Brazil! In a thrilling final against DreamMax E-Sports, fans were able to see RRQ take down favorites DreamMax 4-0. In addition to first place, the champions take home a portion of the $30k prize pool.
RRQ Akira and DreamMax E-Sports will represent Brazil in the LATAM LIGA Regional Tournament to be held in Lima, Peru. The first edition held outside of Southeast Asia, MPL Brasil brings players together to compete for first place in a local professional league that brings out talent and empowers the Brazilian community by offering a chance to reach the goal of becoming a professional esports player.
“We are very happy that we have won our place in LATAM LEAGUE and we would not have made it if we were not united,” comments Louise, captain of RRQ Akira. “The regional tournament will test our teamwork, but we are confident that we will achieve the same success as at MPL Brasil.”
