Each name changed and modernized over time, but always kept its charm and, above all, the content in the form of alchemy objects. Even with this new episode, he will not be different, but you will have a complete novelty in the form of management of your own trade and mechanics in the development of the city. All this this time is accompanied by two main characters and many other characters known from previous episodes.

In search of truth

The story of this episode talks about two characters – a youth named Slade and a girl named Rias. They both return to their hometown Hallfam to find out the truth about what happened there 12 years ago. From the mysterious catastrophe with which the city became, Halfain was destroyed, and most of its inhabitants disappeared. However, after a long time, everything began to move, and the work to restore the city began here. The Rias plan is not just a search for truth, but also open the store of her grandfather.

Soon after, he discovers a hidden talent for alchemy, which will come to restore the city very useful in efforts. Slade returns to the latest desire of his father and can open the dimensional paths that lead to alternative measurements. Soon, both characters found that fate should be seduced together, since one without each other could not move in his search. So, you play here for both main characters. Each has different advantages, and when you study the environment, you can press the corresponding button to choose which one you want to play for.

SLADE is a completely protective type, and more intentional, Rias is more funny, and sometimes a little reckless. They both complement each other and balance each other, which is interesting to observe, especially in the video, in combination with other symbols. Of course, these two are not the only characters who will make you a company in the game. On your journey, you will meet countless various adventurers, including heroes from the previous episodes of the Atelier series. Some only flicker, but others even join your retinue. So, if you are a faithful fan, this will certainly make you happy and remember the good old days. In addition, you, like them, will be curious to observe the development of both main characters.

SKREP -Alchemy

As in previous games, everything rotates around the collection of ingredients, a survey and subsequent alchemical production. You can pick up the ingredients in the study of several regions of the Lantarna continent, as well as the dimensional routes that will lead you to the distant corners of this country. Do not expect an open world, as in the previous name Atelier Yumia. The world is divided into several places that divide the load screens. You can get other ingredients in the battles that I have to praise. These are classic stretching battles where you are waiting and performing your actions.

Thus, the creators returned to classics from older parts. They require only one additional action so that you are careful. And it protects. If you see that the enemy is preparing an attack, you must hold the defense button so as not to damage. If you press it on time and make the perfect coating, you will get even less damage. In the menu you can install an automatic coating, but this will never make the perfect coating. The fact that these are stretching battles, so they do quite well and have a rather action. The characters demonstrate in various “combo” that play all colors, and this is a really great show. I also appreciate the possibility of accelerating these animations in battles. This will save a lot of time if you are just on quick rare ingredients.

In your studio you can use these ingredients to produce objects. You can also remember and sell them in your store. The production system is not difficult to understand, but at first it can be stunning. First of all, this will probably feel new players who have not yet met the game. Most recipes should be found by mixing various objects and ingredients. Nevertheless, the game provides you with help that you must try at some points. Despite this, production can sometimes be long and complex before you finally find the right combination. The game will not allow you to get around this mechanics in any way, and it basically block the procedure in history several times, which, frankly, has not always appreciated. In alchemy, you must certainly be honest.

After working with raw materials and even more time -consuming preparation of your alchemical talent, you will have a second pillar of the game, which is the repair of the city, as well as management of your store. You will not be alone, but you will help you playful fairies who promise you help. Of course for a fair salary. Unfortunately, it is a pity that the mechanic of business management is not more extensive. You simply place the produced or collected items in prepared shelves, and then press the store to open the store and automatically sell everything. You are “rewarded” only by a short scene where your characters work with Fairy, and that’s all. You can at least get several jewelry in a store that will give you fewer advantages. But I almost did not spend time in the store, with the exception of the quick sale of things from the game.

Unfortunately, it is a pity that the mechanic of business management is not more extensive.

With the growth of earnings, the level of your store is growing, which gradually improves and repairs the whole city. You invest your earned money in the city. As a result, new stores will open around you, which can also be useful for you, the buildings will be repaired, and more and more people will be transferred to the city, which guarantees higher sales. However, do not expect busy streets here. Even after several improvements in the city, there are a total of the dead, and you will not meet the aforementioned customers in your store. Here and there you will find only a few NPC characters or several merchants.

Investment requirements also increase with an increase in level, especially in the form of objects. In addition to money, you will have to deliver the alchemical objects that you produce. Thus, all mechanics are still connected throughout the game, and you will not get further if you decide to ignore one. Despite the fact that the production of some objects gave me rather difficult times (especially at the end of the game, when I wanted to close the story), this is actually pleasant for me. You will feel the experience of this game as creators, not intended without a shortcut. Something like this can be felt even in later battles, in which you would not win with insufficiently improved characters.

Atelier Resleriana has only Japanese duplication, which may be a drawback for anyone. He is successful, but sometimes I could not read the headlines in an interview with the characters. This is very unfortunate, because their verbal shootings were often quite interesting. Otherwise, duplication personally does not require too many problems. The general view is good, but the environment rarely worries me. For this, the characters are much more complex, and their outfits are described in detail. Music is not distinguished by originality in certain situations, in addition, its choice was not very well suited. In fact, I have nothing to blame at all. On the computer, the game went smoothly, and only after I managed to get stuck in an invisible texture that simply decided a quick journey, for which I am usually very grateful in this game.


Verdict

The last episode of Atelier is her sentences, similar to classic games from this series in the form of stretching battles or an alchemical system, which is not difficult to understand even for new players. At the same time, it is difficult and useful. In combination with a diverse group of fun and cute characters from previous episodes, you will really feel at home when restoring HallFein.
