Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. just released a story trailer TEKKEN™ 8 and announced that a demo of the game is now available on PlayStation®5 and will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam® on December 21 at 5 a.m. Brazil time. TEKKEN 8 is scheduled to release January 26, 2024 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam®.
The upcoming sequel to the legendary fighting game franchise continues the conflict between the Mishima and Kazama clans, a bitter family rivalry that has now engulfed the entire world. Not only will fans get their first look at what’s to come in the TEKKEN™ saga, but they’ll also be able to try it out in a demo. TEKKEN 8which includes several modes.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., TEKKEN 8 continues the rivalry between the Kazuma and Mishima families, a storyline recognized by Guinness World Records as the oldest narrative in video game history. After Heihachi’s defeat, the world fell into chaos as Kazuya Mishima’s power grew and his G Corporation wreaked havoc throughout the world.
The only one who can stop him is his own son, Jin Kazama, but only if he can ignite the indescribable power of the demonic gene that courses through his veins. Players will be able to experience the TEKKEN saga like never before with stunning visual details and all the features of TEKKEN 8, engaging in exciting battles with completely revamped characters, destructible environments and a new “aggressive” combat system that keeps the action high.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. held a “Special Story Mode and Showcase Event” featuring WWE Superstar Xavier Woods aka Austin Creed, as well as Tekken Project director Katsuhiro Harada and TEKKEN 8 producer Michael Murray. The program can be viewed on the official YouTube channel.
Many new modes and features of TEKKEN 8 are available in the demo version. In addition to Story Mode, the demo includes two exciting modes first introduced in TEKKEN™: the new single-player Arcade Quest mode, an immersive experience that takes players on a journey through the arcade while honing their skills, and Super Mode. Ghost Battle is a new mode designed to push players to their peak performance. Save data from the demo will not carry over to the final game. Check out the content available in the demo below:
