The moment fans have been waiting for has arrived. As CCXP celebrates its tenth anniversary, Netflix announces director Zack Snyder and producer Deborah Snyder’s first appearance at the convention. Actors Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michel Huisman, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Staz Nair and E. Duffy will also join them in Sao Paulo.

Everyone will take part in a unique panel to celebrate the launch of Snyder’s new epic adventure, Netflix’s Rebel Moon. Confirmed to take place on Friday, December 1 at 6:00 pm on the Thunder Stage, the panel will take fans straight into the universe of this biggest project in the director’s career, in an unforgettable show that includes the first global screening of Rebel Moon – Part. 1: Fire Girl is an action-packed visual spectacle. The surprises don’t end there: outside of the panel, fans will be able to discover and experience Rebel Moon through immersive experiences every day of CCXP23 with hyper-realistic replicas of the film. Meet the moon Veldt, which is the starting point of the plot; try a drink at the Providence Bar; interact with creatures and characters from the film; get acquainted with one of the ships from the saga; see original production costumes; and win exclusive gifts.
Oh, and those attending CCXP will also be able to purchase new Rebel Moon products developed by partners like Iron Studios and FanLab, who will have exclusive activations of the new Netflix film at their booths.
Calm down, that’s not all. Have you ever wondered if you could play the lead role in Rebel Moon? For the first time in CCXP history, Netflix will take fans inside a movie trailer using technology designed specifically for the action. The experience will be similar to what actors experience on set, and the result will be a personalized trailer where you play the new star of Rebel Moon (and Zack Snyder).
Director Zack Snyder, known for such film hits as “300,” “Man of Steel” and “Army of the Dead: Invasion of Las Vegas,” took 20 years to create the entire mythology and universe of Rebel Moon with new planets, moons, languages , creatures and, of course, new heroes. The film is split into two parts, with the first premiering on December 22, 2023 and the second on April 19, 2024 on Netflix.

Short description:
After crash-landing on a moon at the edge of the universe, Cora (Sofia Boutella), a young woman with a mysterious past, begins a new life on a peaceful farming colony. She soon becomes their only hope for survival when the tyrannical regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein) discover that the farmers have sold their crops to the Bloodaxe brothers (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher), leaders of a group of rebels, for which the Mother World preys on.
Cora and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a kind farmer and naive to the realities of war, travel between worlds in search of the Bloodaxe brothers and manage to gather a small group of warriors who are united by the need for redemption: pilot and hitman Kai (Charlie Hunnam), the legendary General Titus (Djimon Hounsou), swordswoman Nemesis (Bae Doona), a prisoner with a real past, Tarak (Staz Nair), and Milius (A. Duffy), a member of the resistance.
Upon returning to the Veldt, Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins in the English version), an ancient robot hidden to accompany the group, awakens with a new purpose. However, these new revolutionaries will have to learn to trust each other in order to fight together before the armies of the Mother World destroy them.
