The power of the official WRC license: Combining the expertise of the DiRT Rally studio with the official WRC license, EA SPORTS WRC enhances the realism with 50 faithfully recreated WRC, WRC2 and FIA Junior WRC teams. The authenticity extends to the venues too, with each 2023 FIA World Rally Championship rally featuring multiple variations of weather, season and time of day. The move to Unreal Engine allowed the studio to create longer, more detailed and precise stages, incorporating over 600 km of asphalt, gravel and snow into the game.
All-new dynamic control system and tempo notes: Players will experience the most realistic controls possible thanks to the new dynamic control system. Based on the DiRT Rally model and feedback from real drivers, Dynamic Handling gives players greater control over exciting jumps, tight turns, changing weather conditions and surface destruction. Beginners can customize settings to hone their skills, then dive head first into one of 13* official FIA World Rally Championship locations and five real-world inspired locations. Along with control innovations, new rhythm notes, including simplified commands for new players, provide a greater sense of realism and improve the rally experience for both seasoned veterans and newcomers taking on the challenge for the first time.
Chat with friends and relive historical moments: Rally fans will feel even more connected with cross-platform competition, where up to 32 players can compete on the platform of their choice in private lobbies with friends or against the global EA SPORTS WRC community. In addition, clubs return through EA Racenet, adding variety to player competition. Moments, which are updated daily, allow players to role-play scenarios from WRC history, simulating the challenges WRC teams face in each competition.
Create your dream car: Players who want a rally car that suits their driving style and visual taste can use the Builder to build the car of their dreams. Start with the production line and select the body, mechanical parts and interior design. Once complete, add customizations courtesy of the livery editor before testing and comparing it against one of the 78 available cars with over 60 years of racing history.
