The Tips and Gadgets World Cup is fast approaching. The final round will take place this weekend, as eight Western players will compete for a chance to fight on stage at Teamfight Tactics Worlds. To add to the excitement, the 12.7 patches should drop in the next few days, hopefully before the leaderboard.
Next week’s patch 12.7 will focus on reducing poor quality kits to create a more diverse meta – just in time for our first Global Tournament of the year!

Although Riot did not specify a specific day for the release of the patch, the official TFT Twitter account approved These full patch notes will be available on Tuesday, April 12. Patch 12.7 itself should be released on April 12 or 13. The final qualifying match will be played on Saturday 16 April.
Riot hopes Patch 12.7 will provide more opportunities for underdeveloped team components to unleash a new and exciting stage in the world. Some of the top rated companies are Scrap Strikers, Debonair Assassins, and 8 Arcanist. In the latest patch 12.6b, we saw nerfs directly affecting these kits: Sivir’s bonus attack speed for Strikers was reduced compared to Richochet; For Assassins, Twitch got a maximum mana increase and reduced Talon’s Blade Edge damage and bleed time; For arcanists, the AP bonus is reduced for arcanists and team members. We can expect to see similar nerds in patch 12.7 as Riot wants to see more diversity in comps across the world.
