The wait is over. Green disc for the championship eSerieE Calabria with the support of the National Amateur League, which, starting at 14:30 tonight, will present virtual football teams: Audace Decollatura, Crissense, Promo Sport, ASD Rossanese Calcio, Sporting Catanzaro Lido and Winner Boys Sila.
The Pro Club competition at PlayStation-FIFA23, organized by the FIFA-LND Calabria Regional Committee in collaboration with ASD Aragon Esports, makes its debut and already promises great challenges and unexpected twists. All the ingredients for a great tournament are in place, and the path to category jumping begins today. The format effectively provides direct access to the eSerieD Championship, in addition to the regional title, for the winning team of the respective eSerieE. Instead, the second-placed team will gain access to the national play-outs, which will provide a second digital access to Serie D.
The Calabrian Championship joins those already held in Lazio, Sicily, Campania, Liguria, Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta and Abruzzo. The start for Emilia-Romagna is also inevitable. The eight regional committees participating in the virtual football championship will take part next weekend in the first GENERAL regional eSports tournament, which will take place in Turin at the Insuparbili Onlus headquarters.
