Land of Dawn will appear in Black Desert Mobile on September 26.

South Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has unveiled major updates for Black Desert Mobile and Black Desert Online. The critically acclaimed Land of Dawn expansion will be released on mobile devices on September 26, coinciding with the start of the new season and the release of Wu-sa’s Awakening. The PC version will allow players to participate on the new season’s servers, allowing adventurers to level up at their own pace without worrying about an end date.

Black Desert’s biggest expansion, Land of Dawn, is mobile-ready and brings original gameplay, stories based on Korean culture, and powerful hardware to Black Desert Mobile, taking players to a new mythical continent full of authentic locations, bosses inspired by folklore , and characters based on the Joseon Dynasty.

• Formidable bosses to challenge: Players of all skill levels can take on four mythical bosses: the Golden Pig King; nine-tailed fox Kumiho; the blue-skinned monster Songakshi; and Mudang Spectrum, Bari. With customizable difficulty levels, players can challenge themselves in Black Temple mode by taking on each boss in new difficulty levels (or disaster levels).
• New dynamic equipment: By defeating bosses in Black Shrine Boss Rush mode, adventurers will be able to obtain the “Flame of Hong-Ik” and craft a variety of powerful Dawnveil gear. Hong-Ik’s Flame can be obtained with a certain chance and can be collected by creating it using Hong-Ik’s coals.
• Quests inspired by Korean folklore: Players can follow an exciting story that unfolds like a book, discovering Korean fables and meeting popular characters including Songakshi, the vengeful ghost woman, and Bari, the ghost of Mudang.
• Stunning landscapes of Korea: Pearl Abyss studied 15 real-life locations to recreate historical scenarios in the game. Visit a Korean village inspired by the villages of the Joseon period, or Nampo Gate, inspired by the Sandang Sanseong Fortress.
• New powerful character: Possessing otherworldly powers, Awakening Wu-Sa, also called Choryeon, summons the souls of the fallen, using the brush to attack enemies and using death flowers to strategically block enemies. This powerful Wu-Tao fighter can use a variety of long- and short-range attacks depending on the distance between her and the enemy, or summon flowers to relentlessly track them and deal explosive damage, leaving enemies confused.

New experience on seasonal servers

The new season servers will no longer have an end date, giving players the ability to choose when to start leveling up or finishing their characters. Season servers offer exclusive gear, accelerated experience gains, unique content, and rewards for challenges, missions, and other Season Pass activities, making them the perfect place for new players to start playing Black Desert Online.

Another new feature is the new “Conversion” system, which allows two characters to gain levels at the same time, giving players the ability to easily power up multiple characters. Simply pair an unused character with an active one so that they both receive the same amount of experience gained through the game.
