Fortnite: $50M raised for Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov thanks Epic Games

Attempt To support Ukraine from Fortnite goes full speed ahead reaching impressive numbers for a fundraiser for charity: me 50 million dollars in just two days, as announced on social media a few minutes ago. Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov thanked Epic Games on Twitter for their solidarity with the victims of the war.

“Thank you Epic Games for understanding that people’s lives are not a game,” Fedorov’s post reads. “Your support is very important to us.”

For the inexperienced, Epic Games and Xbox have decided to send Fortnite proceeds from V-Buck, Battle Pass, and cosmetic-related purchases to humanitarian organizations. UNICEF, WFP, Refugees and Direct Aid To help the victims of the war in Ukraine. It is undoubtedly a commendable initiative and, as we said at the beginning, it has already reached very important numbers thanks to the battle royale community.
