Announced last August, Return to the Empire was born from one Collaboration between Microsoft and Tencentand therefore the franchise is likely to land in the West by adopting its official name.

The strategy genre is very popular in China, and with Return to Empire, Tencent aims to reach this market segment, which is currently dominated by games such as Three Kingdoms: Strategy, Immortal Conquest, Rise of Kingdoms and Civilization & Conquest.
However, there are currently no details on when the game will be distributed in the West.
