eSports division Paris Saint Germain, PSG eSportsexpanded cooperation with Hong Kong esports organization Talon eSports for another three years. Together they will work as part of PSG Talon, created in 2019.
PSG Esports was one of the first esports projects initiated by the football club in 2016, both as an independent esports organization and through partnerships with established esports brands such as LGD and Team New Age. PSG Esports also runs its own teams in Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six: Siege and FIFA 23, notably PSG.LGD, who won the Riyadh Invitational in 2022 and finished fourth in five different editions of The International.
The PSG Talon team holds the title in the Pacific Championship Series and is a strong competitor in the region. PSG Esports and Talon have said they will focus on developing talent and finding new commercial and content partners.
Adiya Benmokhtar, Paris Saint-Germain’s head of brand development expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, which will increase the club’s visibility in key markets and among non-traditional football audiences around the world. Talon Esports also runs other teams such as the Talon Esports Dota 2 team which is not affiliated with PSG Esports.
