E-Sport Italia CONI Promotion Committee and association IDEA signed a letter of intent to start a collaboration aimed at promoting the knowledge and practice of esports in Italy. The tasks include spreading esports disciplines, promoting the right ideas about them and building a network with market operators. In addition, the compatibility of virtual sports with policies to prevent inequality, discrimination and social exclusion will be explored.
The President of the Committee expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, which will combine the experience of the Sports Federation with the experience of the video game industry and development in Italy. Even the President of IIDEA emphasized the importance of cooperation, which can be a starting point for a better understanding between the world of video games and sports.
