This construction of terrariums paying homage to Stardew Valley is so clever that it still kind of breaks my brain. While many parallels can be drawn between the relaxing collection, creation, and organization of the two best sandbox games on PC, there is one big obvious difference in their perspective. However, when exploring Lady Forestia’s latest creation in Terraria, you might think you’re looking down on the world of Stardew Valley.
Terraria fan and artist “Lady Forestia” has already created some clever and intricate builds that make Terraria feel more like a 3D game than its true 2D design, but this new area takes things to the next level. , perfectly reflecting the perspective of Stardew. Using the Terraria Echo cover to neatly hide blocks and ledges from view, this build allows the player to roam the city in the same way they are used to playing Stardew Valley.
Those of you who have spent time with Terraria since its Labor of Love update may know that there is actually an official Stardew reference in the game with a few items included that allow you to give Stardew Valley a try in Terraria. However, this custom map takes things to the next level, with an entire city to navigate with shops, houses, vegetable gardens, and more.
Although I’ve spent time wandering past Lady Forestia’s creations and admiring the stitching, I still want to walk the paths of this Stardew Valley-inspired town and be able to walk up and down the vertical paths. It’s not quite perfect – sometimes you’ll have to wiggle around a bit to get out of a stuck spot – but it’s surprisingly reliable for something the game wasn’t really made for.
Saying that the entire project took around 50 hours over three weeks, Lady Forestia explains, “It’s my way of expressing my undying love and gratitude to our wonderful community, the game, and its creators.” The passion that went into it certainly shows!
Thankfully, Lady Forestia has also uploaded some little sneak peeks of the build process in action – she doesn’t give away everything, but if you’re interested in building something like this yourself, be sure to check out her full YouTube channel for more. similar gimmicks, as well as a few other takes on it, including a beautiful and moving tribute to Terraria developer Jason “Laneforce” Parker, who passed away earlier this year.

Note that if you’ve already created a world using your template, you’ll need to import a new version again to get the latest updates.
