This new Genshin Impact web event is a rhythm game that coincides with the recent release of the anime game’s second album, Sumeru OST, and you can participate to get the Primogem code. The event is called “Forest Chords” and you need to complete it as soon as possible because the number of codes is limited. It’s a small amount, but there’s no reason to forego simple ways to make gemstones with minimal effort.
Chords of the Forest starts today and runs until April 27, but those five million 40 Primogem codes may not last a whole week if you delay. You must be at least Adventure Rank 10 or higher to participate, and each UID can only receive one code.
There are five songs to play, and the game will ask you which notes to play as the songs play, all of which should sound very standard to anyone who has ever played a rhythm game.
Head over to the official Chords of the Forest event page to participate. Once you have completed the songs, you will be asked to share the event to receive a code. But really, you just need to get a link, you won’t have to share it anywhere.
All songs are taken from the second album Sumeru OST, which was released on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) earlier this week. Contains fan-favorite themes such as the Scaramouche boss theme and Sumeru desert battle tracks.
Genshin Impact version 3.6 has been out for about a week now and has already introduced us to even more catchy parts of the new soundtrack for the Girdle of the Sands map expansion.
Be sure to complete the new world quest La Hvarena of Good and Evil and get the Sorush Gadget if you want to hear all the new music.
