The new Genshin Impact Sorush device has special features that allow it to take amazing screenshots. Sorush is a new companion device added to the anime game in the 3.6 update. It is featured as part of the main world quest Belt of the Sands, a new area located northwest of the Hadramavet Desert in the Sumeru Desert.
As soon as you enter the area of the new map expansion, you will automatically receive a world quest called Hwarena of Good and Evil. Complete the first few steps of this quest to unlock Sorush as a device.
Whenever Sorush is used, you take control as she has abilities that can be used to solve puzzles and interact with the environment within the new area of the map. This feature alone is rare on devices, but you can also open the camera from the menu when controlling Sorush.
You can change altitude during the flight, so you can take great drone-like aerial photos while flying it. She doesn’t attack enemies at all, as she is a mystical creature that serves the land in one way or another.
This means you can finally take multiple close-ups of enemies without having to exit camera mode at the start of a fight. Sorush is an indispensable companion for all Teyvat photographers, but there is a small problem.
Unfortunately, you can only take control of Sorush in the new Sandbelt region, just like Nahida’s mind reading only works inside Sumeru. Sorush will still follow you, but you won’t be able to use his abilities.
Genshin Impact version 3.6 has just started, so with Sorush you can also add Nahida and Nilou to your party as you explore the map expansion.
