Today’s stream of the Genshin Impact Special for version 3.6 broke the hearts of all of Yula’s potential main characters by revealing that she will no longer receive a banner. Instead, the anime game will feature Nahid and Nilou in the first half, followed by Baizhu, Ganya, and Kawa in the second half. As such, Yula will go on to have the longest road streak in Genshin Impact, bringing her record to 18 months.
Looking at this lineup objectively, the combination of Nahida, Neelow, Baizhu, and Kaveh doesn’t fit a cryogenic character at all. Three of these characters use Dendro and one is a Hydro user who prefers Dendro’s commands.
It would make sense to not have Cryo characters there, but for some reason Ganyu, Cryo’s best DPS, is getting his third iteration in just over a year. To be honest, he’s a bit confused at this point.
To be fair, as a Mondstadt native, Yula should have had a repeat during the Mondstadt Windblume event earlier in Genshin Impact 3.5, instead of showing banners to both Ayaka and Shenhe, two Cryo characters who have nothing to do with each other. see with Mondstadt.
Now players who have been waiting for Eula will need to be even more patient. However, he hasn’t had a repeat since November 2021, so his patience may have run out long ago.
HoYoverse has yet to reveal which four-star characters will be available in Genshin Impact’s version 3.6 banners, but now we know for a fact that Yulia will have to wait until at least version 3.7 appears.
In the meantime, you can still get Ayaka and Shenhe in the second half of the current update before 3.6 launches in less than two weeks.
