Is Steam Deck compatible with Diablo 4?
Yes, Diablo 4 is compatible with Steam Deck., but you won’t be able to download the RPG from the Valve store. Instead, you’ll need to install Battle.net on the Steam Deck, which will allow you to run Blizzard games like Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, and World of Warcraft. The fix will eventually expand your portable Steam library, so it’s worth taking the time to implement it.
In terms of Steam Deck performance in Diablo 4, the RPG works relatively well on handheld devices, but naturally you’ll have to lower the settings. Unfortunately, if Diablo 4 doesn’t launch on Steam soon, we won’t be able to use Valve’s tried and tested gameplay system as a portable head-to-head game, but the beta version appears to be playable.
If you want to fight Lilith on the big screen or on your desktop, you can play Diablo 4 using the best Steam Deck and PC controller. Just keep in mind that you may have a hard time boosting the frame rate at higher resolutions, and lower images will look coarser on a larger screen.
