The Counter-Strike 2 release date will surely be soon. Well then. We first got all these potential CSGO Source 2 updates on Steam. After that, Valve filed new trademarks for something called “CS2”. And now we have a new Counter-Strike logo that seems to contain another cheeky nod to Counter-Strike 2. A new version of the flagship FPS game should be on the way.

Shortly after, we reported on a new trademark filing from Valve that linked the new property, also called “CS2”, to the existing CSGO trademark.

So is this the latest in a series of cryptic signs that Counter-Strike 2 is on the way? Or is Valve just playing us like they’ve been playing our hearts since Half-Life 2 Episode 3 was cancelled? PCGamesN will continue to research and update you on all CS2 developments as they become available.
