After all Dead Space Marker Fragment Location? One of the best additions to Dead Space Remake is the new plus game mode, which allows you to take on the Necromorph army again with your entire team. Playing the story also gives you a chance to unlock Dead Space’s secret ending, but you’ll need to collect some items first.
When a new Dead Space Remake game or gameplay starts, 12 new collectibles will be added for Ishimura to track down. These are Dead Space marker fragments, something that wasn’t in the original game or the usual remake passage. They are in place during the new game and also work to further the lore and allow you to unlock the secret ending if you manage to find them all. If our Dead Space Remake review is to be believed, this should be one of the best PC games this year, multiple games fully guaranteed to get you that secret ending.
All Dead Space Marker Fragment Locations
There are 12 marker fragments on the USG Ishimura. Some of these hidden collectibles require skills like kinesis, as they are often found in hard-to-reach places. Here is the location of each Dead Space tag snippet:
- Market fragment 1: Hanger-Gargo-Tram Control, on a shelf inside the maintenance office.
- Marker Fragment 2: Doctor, 1st floor, Dr. T. Kine’s office, in a secret room behind a shelf.
- Marker 3 Fragment: Engineering, 3rd floor, machine room, hidden in a dark corner of the room.
- Marker 4 Fragment: Deck, floor 1, break room, visible on the ground.
- Marker 5 Fragment: Medicine, 4th floor, cryogenics, use kinesis to extract the fragment that is on top of the cryogenic chamber.
- Marker 6 Fragment: Physician, 4th floor, Dr. C. Mercer, in the medical office.
- Marker 7 Fragment: Hydroponics, 4th floor, east grow room, use Kinesis to remove the corruption fragment inside the room.
- Marker 8 Fragment: Mining, 5th floor, on a shelf in the mineral sample room.
- Market fragment 9: Communications center, floor two, floating in a contaminated hole.
- Marker 10 Fragment: Crew Quarters, 3rd floor, deluxe bunk room, sitting at a table.
- Marker 11 Fragment: Crew quarters, 3rd floor, information tables hidden behind items on the table.
- Marker 12 Fragment: Cargo Tram Hangar Control, Floor 1, Cargo Hold, hidden in a tool rack in the southeast corner of the area.
