Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris Adept weapons have quickly become the most used weapons in Destiny 2 PvP activity, despite only appearing in FPS gameplay since Friday. The Adept version of The Immortal Legendary Strand’s Kinetic Machine Gun has apparently already become one of the best PvP weapons in Destiny 2 thanks to powerful perks like Rangefinder, which increases effective range and zoom, and Target Lock, which increases the damage the longer the weapon stays fixed. the objective.

Within 72 hours of its release on March 17 during the daily reset at 17:00 GMT, this weapon has already become the weapon of choice for the Guardians in the most intense multiplayer game to date. On Twitter, players shared that they played over 40 matches to earn the Adept pistol.

Players can obtain the weapon by completing Flawless in Trials of Osiris. To do so, they must get seven straight wins (although they can also choose a Trials Pass, called the Mercy Pass, which forgives one loss, so in some cases that could mean winning seven out of eight games).

However, weaker players who want to grind can also receive this weapon as a reward from Saint-14. One player suggested that he won it by queuing solo and using the Wealth Pass to increase ranking points for third, fifth and seventh single ticket wins.

Guardians who have received this weapon are already setting themselves up for a nerf due to its power and immediate status as the weapon of choice in the game. Bungie recently promised that Lightfall will have a mid-season weapon balance patch, so perhaps it can factor in data suggesting the prominence of weapons in Trials of Osiris.

However, Bungie has also made it clear that they want to design the weapon rewards to be the best for the activity they’re engaging in, which means the team is likely aware that weapons grant players who achieve get your advantage.

Also, players said that the bounty gives people a real reason to be rewarded for a certain action, since other in-game actions like Gambit seem to get ignored.

At press time, Immortal (Adept) and its non-Adept variant account for roughly 10% of all kills in this weekend’s Trials of Osiris. If you’re looking for an Immortal (Adept), you have until the weekly reset on Tuesday, March 21 to earn it.

While it seems like Lightfall has just released, Destiny 2 Season 21 is right around the corner. In the meantime, check out the full list of Lightfall quests and our guide to Destiny 2’s upcoming Iron Banner so you have everything you need.
