It’s hard to believe, but Steam Deck has been supporting numerous gaming sessions on handheld devices around the world for just over a year. Now, as part of a belated anniversary celebration, Valve has dropped the price of its device for the first time.

Steam’s spring sale has just kicked off, dropping prices by a point or three on countless classic and recent releases, including the Steam Deck. All SKUs are the same 10% discount, which means the portable powerhouse can be yours for as little as $359.10 / £314.10 for a limited time.

Choosing a base model will leave you tight on space, though, which means your potential savings should probably go towards a better Steam Deck microSD card or compatible SSD. While it’s a good idea to invest in some extra storage no matter which spec you choose, opting for a 256GB model will make diving into Steam Deck’s best games less of a chore.

You will have until March 23rd to decide which Steam Deck is best for you, at which time the number of games supported by Steam Deck will surely increase. Keep in mind that these stats only reflect games that Valve has personally tested, and there are plenty of games in their Steam library that will run with little to no issues despite a lack of praise.
