As the Halo Infinite Season 3 release date approaches, series developer 343 Industries has shared a preview of all the content you can expect when the new season launches later this month in-game. FPS, but a previously promised addition has been moved. pipeline.

  • Shroud Screen (new equipment)
  • Two free storytelling events.
  • Fracture: Firewall (New Season Event)
  • Abyss, Rock Climber and Oasis (new maps)

Halo Senior Community Manager Jon Junischek also revealed what else you can expect from Halo Infinite Season 3, including desync improvements, next week’s blog covering all settings, and that VIP multiplayer is coming. has carried over to season 4 and beyond.

The VIP move will likely come as a shock to most of us, as promised in the original roadmap at the time, but Yunishek says it was moved to prioritize the rest of the content. “While this is a departure from previously laid out plans, I promise the change in priorities better aligns with community feedback,” says Yunishek.

For me, the biggest addition to the new season of Halo is a kind of postponement of Halo: Reach. After two Spartans cut from the Halo: Reach campaign were added to Infinite, it became clear that 343 still wanted to bring back the classic Halo iconography, and that continues with the intentionally DMR-adjacent weapon, the Bandit.

“This semi-automatic weapon, with a silhouette reminiscent of the DMR from Halo: Reach, is best suited for mid-range combat,” writes Halo series developer 343 Industries. “You don’t have to worry about blooming when you’re about to kill 5 shots, but we still recommend keeping your shots in check, as the recoil will increase as you rack up multiple shots in a row.”

Halo Infinite Season 3 complete, but something is missing: Halo Infinite Bandit DMR

So the similarities between the M392 Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) and the M392 Bandit aren’t just in name and looks, as the 343 is fully aware of how Halo Reach continues to fit into multiplayer gameplay.

In other parts of Halo Infinite Season 3, the Shroud’s screen will act as a dome, preventing line of sight and tracking the other team’s movements. The trailer also included information about the new maps and Halo Waypoint.

If you’ve been patiently waiting for Halo Infinite season 3, there isn’t much time left because will be released on March 7. There’s a lot going on in the new season as well, so make sure you’re ready to unlock those cosmetics, explore new maps, and master the Bandit Rifle, because it’s sure to be full of new shooting content.
