Destiny 2 Falling Light Puzzle Give Guardians trouble: If you’re struggling to find a solution, you’re not alone. We went there too, but it’s not as hard as it sounds, and in this guide we’ll show you exactly how to solve it.
If you know Destiny 2 puzzles, this one will be a piece of cake. But with the number of Destiny 2 players on Steam reaching an all-time high since the release of Lightfall, you could be one of the many New Lights inspired to dedicate themselves fully to one of the best free PC games available. If so, you might be less sure how to solve the game’s many puzzles, many of which you’ll encounter in Destiny 2 Lightfall’s The Root of Nightmares raid. This is how you can solve the mind-blowing puzzle that started with Lightfall Season 20 and Destiny 2.
How to Solve the Destiny 2 Rush Mission Puzzle
You will come across a Headlong Puzzle in the Lyming port of Neomun, next to the Lost Sector. The puzzle begins with a closed Vex door. First, you’ll kill a Vex minotaur and some goblins, only to see four harpies appear, some of which are glowing. Your impulse will be to kill the harpies, but that’s part of the puzzle. The luminous harpies are called cationic harpies and the non-luminous harpies are called anionic harpies.
Don’t shoot them and look for the crystals above the door, some of which are glowing as well. This indicates the order in which you must defeat the harpies in order to open the door. Although they do not correspond to specific harpies, what you should know is that if you see a glowing crystal on the far left followed by a non-glowing crystal and then another glowing crystal, you must first defeat the glowing harpy, then the non-glowing one, then beat the other one that shines. Follow this pattern from left to right, but keep in mind that you must wait for the crystal to register that you have defeated the corresponding harpy. So don’t shoot the enemies too fast or you will have to start over. If you do it right, you will be able to pass through the barrier.
As you progress through the mission, you will come across the same mechanic again. You’ll complete it the same way you completed the first one, by reading the crystals from left to right and then defeating the respective Harpies accordingly.
You’ll then be faced with a similar puzzle for the third time, although this one is slightly different. This one will have luminous cationic harpies, non-luminous anionic harpies, and some old-fashioned regular harpies. However, the structure of the puzzle is functionally the same: you follow the pattern of the puzzle while avoiding the usual harpies.
That is everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 Headlong puzzle. We’ve got a Destiny 2 Downfall guide if you’re stuck in one of the best multiplayer games on PC you can find.
