Warhammer 40k Darktide Patch Notes “Too Much To List” But Here We Go

The Warhammer 40k Darktide patch notes for update 1.0.30 are here and they are huge. So huge, in fact, that even developer Fatshark says “too many patch notes to list in one announcement.” With tons of quality-of-life improvements, more rewarding challenges, and more efficient upgrades coming to Grimdark Co-op, along with a host of weapon balance changes, there’s a lot going on. take a look at those and see what happens.

First of all, you’ll be pleased to know that the vast majority of these changes are beneficial to players on and off the battlefield. Gear sets are now customizable, which means you can save up to five gear sets, including all your weapons and curios, cosmetics, and talents of your choice. If you need certain equipment, you can now purchase brand-specific weapons from the Armory.

Changes to Ser Melk’s weekly rewards have made them easier to complete and have increased the rewards for doing so in Ordo Bars. He can also repeat the tasks an unlimited number of times to get the ones he likes. The quest board will also have more quests available and the rewards will increase as the difficulty increases.

Prices in the Temple of the Omnissiah have been adjusted based on item ratings, making it “much more affordable” for low-tier mods. You will also be able to extract boons from weapons by sacrificing them and then use them on other weapons of the same brand. These earned boons are shared equally among all characters on your account. On top of that, Consecrated items are now more likely to unlock higher level perks and boons.

You will now receive the Emperor’s Gift for every successful quest, with a higher difficulty level or additional conditions that increase the chance of getting a higher rarity item.

There are also many interesting quality of life improvements. Weapon beacons will now have unique HUD icons instead of being common across all weapon skins, meaning you can now clearly distinguish each of your psychic scopes, for example. Your inventory and shop items can now be sorted by rank or item type, and many character emotes that you can use in the hub area have been added.

There’s also the aforementioned weapon balancing – a lot of this is aimed at buffing boons on weapons that were considered weaker, buffing some boons that Fatshark found “humble and sometimes completely useless in their previous format.” He adds that the team welcomes continued player feedback after the update and hopes to see weapon blessing builds as a major part of their patch rotation in the future.

Warhammer 40k Update 1.0.30 Notes

Here are the Warhammer 40k Darktide 1.0.30 patch notes:

equipment sets

  • Outfit sets are now available to customize in Darktide!
  • Saving a gear set will keep your current gear (weapons and curios), cosmetics, and chosen talents.
  • You can create up to 5 sets and customize the set in the user interface with an icon to indicate what it can be configured for or to differentiate between them.

arms swap

  • An option (“Brant Armory”) is now available in the Armory to purchase certain weapons by their mark (Mk).
  • Melee and ranged weapon tokens become available after unlocking them by reaching the appropriate level.
  • Brant’s Armory only stocks the most common weapons (Unholy Holiness), and each weapon starts with a base price and scales with the player’s level, much like weapon prices in other shops.
  • Now you can see the cosmetic equipment and weapon skins. You can see these items on your current character or on a holographic mannequin.

Ser Melk Accessories

  • The scriptures and grimoires side quests have been merged into a single quest that will be completed as you pick up an item after successfully completing the quest.
  • Removed contracts that required certain side objectives to be completed on certain missions.
  • Removed the current limit on the number of times you can replay this quest. The system will continue to retry tasks until it has reissued all available tasks, in which case it will start selecting from previously deployed tasks again. The cost of the required files will increase with each reminder.

New contracts:

  • collect diamonds
  • collect plastic
  • Collect scriptures or grimoires.

Updated contracts:

The following rewards have been rebalanced, reducing the required objectives and increasing the number of Ordo Bars they award:

  • kill the monsters
  • complete tasks
  • Complete missions with no player deaths.
  • Kill scum in melee
  • Kill scum with ranged combat.
  • Stroops killed in melee
  • Kill Stroops in ranged combat.

temple of omnissia

  • Adjusted prices for actions in the Temple. Shrine action costs will now scale based on the modded item’s rating.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an item’s preview rating to appear lower. This was just a visual bug and didn’t actually lower the rating level.
  • Shrine initiation cost changed, Diamantine is no longer required to upgrade to Anointed (blue rarity).
  • You can now draw Blessing from a weapon in your inventory, sacrificing the weapon in the process. After extracting the Blessing, you will have a permanent chance to use this Blessing on other weapons of the same sign. Blessings earned are distributed among all characters on your account.
  • You can now change a weapon’s blessing by replacing the existing blessing on a weapon with one of your earned blessings. There are unique boons available for each weapon sample, and you can only trade them with boons that belong to the same sample. When re-blessing, you must select an existing blessing to replace the weapon; if your weapon has another boon, it will be locked in place.

mission board

  • The Quests board will see an increase in the number of quests available. We are increasing them from 12 to 16 available missions.
  • The balance between difficulty, maps, and environments/side quests has also been adjusted to account for greater accessibility. Times for regular board quests have been reduced to 15 minutes.
  • The rewards and conditions of the side missions are no longer the same and are now individualized. This means that side quests and conditions will award a different amount of experience and documents, which will also increase the total amount awarded by choosing a higher difficulty.
  • Increased the availability of crafting materials (Plaststeel and Diamond) found in the mission.

Emperor’s Gift

  • The Emperor’s Gift will now be awarded for each successful completion of a quest.
  • Playing on a higher difficulty level will increase your chances of receiving a higher rarity item as a gift.
  • In addition, the conditions will also affect the chances of increasing the rarity of the offered items.

Article Generation

  • Significant improvements have been made to the basics of item crafting (weapons and trinkets) and their distribution among the different sources in the game.
  • Consecrated (upgraded with rarity) items in the Shrine of the Omnissiah now have a better chance of unlocking higher level blessings and blessings.
  • The armory trade request list will often see items with level 1 and 2 abilities/boons, while Ser Melk requests will often list items with level 3 and 4 abilities/boons for level 30 characters.

character creation

  • Various visual updates have been applied to the character creation screens.

Social

  • Selected portrait frames will now appear for users/characters you view in the social media menu.
  • Added the ability for your avatar to express emotions in Mourningstar Hub. All players now have emote slots. Tenure [Jump] The key opens the emotion wheel, where you can select an emotion.
  • New Emotes – Veteran, Psychic, Zealot: Wave, Thumbs up, No, Squat, Knee.
  • New Emotes – Ogryn: Hello, Thumbs up, No, Safety first, Get on your knees.

Quality of life

  • Added the ability to sort item listings in stores and their inventory by item type and item rating.
  • All weapon beacons now have a single HUD icon and will no longer have a single icon for all weapon art.

commodore dress

  • Updated the UI when reviewing a set of items to more clearly show how to purchase a single item in a set if desired. Previously, this step was done in the Inspect view of a single item.
  • Updated the purchase confirmation step to include larger text for the item or set you wish to purchase.

State of the hunting grounds

  • During the Hunting Grounds mission, several rebalanced and adjusted dog pack spawns will be produced, with a focus on pacing and overall performance.
  • Pox Hounds themselves have turned heads, focusing on fixing issues with their movement, smoothing out ragdoll-style transitions, and sternly telling them not to spontaneously attempt space travel. It’s a work in progress.
