After Riot Games’ recent hack, the League of Legends patch notes were finally a bit thinner, instead working until Update 13.4, where MOBA went back to normal. With 28 champions going through some sort of balance, ranked LP changes, and more tied to humans, it’s a huge event.

If you’re one of the many ranked demons in League of Legends, you probably won’t like what’s next. To even out ranked experience, you rank up quickly at the start of the season and then plateau, Riot increases the amount of LP you gain or lose.
The official text reads: “Amount of gains and losses in LP when your apparent rating roughly matches your MMR between 15 and 22. All gains and losses values increase overall.” This actually means that when you win, you rank up faster, but when you lose, you can also rank down faster.
This generally makes the higher levels of the game feel more fluid and will encourage more competitive gameplay overall. Alternatively, it could send a lot of computers flying out the window, but we like to look on the bright side here.

Yes truly. Companion Patch 13.4 is Party Chat, a separate room in the general chat where you can chat directly with your prefabs. Using /p, /party, or /pt will allow you to freely chat with your friends or scold them for not attacking your lane, depending on your preference.

Ugh, how many changes, huh? It will be interesting to see how this affects the League of Legends tier list in the future. It will also be interesting to see how much damage these skins do to my wallet; maybe don’t check how much you spent on League of Legends friends, it hurts.
