The Genshin Impact version 3.5 update will add a new teleportation feature that will make the Sumeru Serenitea Pot and Tubby mansion a lot less boring. During a recent discussion with the developers, the developers of the anime game were basically asking questions, and one of the answers was how uncomfortable Sumeru’s treehouse can be. Genshin Impact version 3.5 will allow players to teleport directly to Tubby instead of having to run around the treehouse every time.
To be more specific, HoYoverse adds a feature that allows players to teleport directly to their mansion from anywhere within Serenitea Pot.
“With update 3.5, you can teleport directly to the Serenitea Potted Mansion location using the map, making it easier to find Tubby,” they wrote, and while that may seem like a very small change, it’s actually a decent change. A quality of life enhancement for those who love the tree house aesthetic.
It is now possible to create teleportation waypoints and place them around the Serenitea pot for easy access to most locations, but you cannot place them at the mansion entrance. This means you have to walk the spiral path every time you want to get to the mansion and Tubby, which is exacerbated by setting up the teapot layout.
The HoYoverse devs also mentioned that there will be changes to the replica system for Serenitea Pot. Currently, the game allows you to copy other players’ cauldron setups, but only if you have enough necessary materials; you just don’t have to build and place everything yourself.
The problem with this system is that collecting the necessary materials takes a long time; by the time everything is ready, the shared ID to create the replica may not be available. HoYoverse acknowledges this issue in the developer discussion and states that the system will be optimized and updated in future releases.
There are only 12 days left in Genshin Impact version 3.4, so these small changes will be implemented soon. This also means that Hu Tao and Yelan don’t have much time left before the release of version 3.5.
