It’s time to become a legend in Apex Legends: Folia! Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment today released a new gameplay trailer for the latest major update, giving players a closer look at the new Team Deathmatch mode, updated Legend classes, the Nemesis assault rifle, and more. Below is a breakdown of what will be in the store with the release Apex Legends: Folia:
- Team Deathmatch Mode – Apex Legends now has the iconic Deathmatch mode. Players will team up into squads and take part in a 6v6 match, where points are scored for killing opponents, and the best of three rounds wins the match. Join Habitat 4 in Tempest Zone, Skull City in Kings Canyon, and Penetrate in Solace.
- Updated Legendary Classes – Legends become even more legendary with new updated classes that will transform Apex games. The list is broken down into Assault, Combat, Scout, Control, and Support to better understand what makes each legend different, as well as the special perks for each class.
- Nemesis Assault Rifle – Folia introduces the Nemesis, a new energy-class assault rifle that fires four shots per burst. With a progressive burst delay that reduces the time between bursts and mimics fully automatic weapons, the Nemesis is sure to be a game changer.
- Orientation matches – Players new to the Wasteland can try out the new Orientation Match system, which allows beginners and beginners to navigate and learn the core mechanics of Apex Legends. Play alone or solo, or invite friends to kill a few bots before joining the regular matchmaking queue.
- Anniversary Collection Event – This year’s celebrations will continue with the Anniversary Collection event, which will feature a community-created rewards system and limited-time legendary squad cosmetic items. Upon completing the Anniversary Collection, players will receive 150 Heirloom Shards to unlock the heirloom or prestige skins of your choice.
- New battle pass. Players can prepare for the craziest party in Wasteland history with the Revelry Battle Pass, and earn amazing rewards by completing Daily and Weekly Challenges.
- Entry Rewards – To celebrate the anniversary of Apex Legends and its incredible community, all male and female players will receive login rewards during the first two weeks of Revelry. Log into Apex Legends: Folia from Tuesday, February 14th through Tuesday, February 21st to automatically unlock Crypto with a Themed Pack guaranteed to include an item just for him. Log in from Tuesday, February 21st through Tuesday, February 28th and unlock the shrewd instigator Ash and one of his themed packs to show off your new style.
