World of Warcraft removes Twitter functionality

World of Warcraft is removing its Twitter in-game functionality after announcing changes to how the platform monetizes third-party apps.

“Over the next few days, we will be updating World of Warcraft to remove the built-in Twitter posting feature. After this minor update, the in-game tweeting feature will no longer be available, and the settings that save your Twitter credentials will no longer appear. This will not require no action from the players.” – Blizzard announced this on the forum through one of their community managers.
