Nintendo Switch overtakes PS4 and Game Boy to become third best-selling console

Nintendo Switch already sold 122.55 million units, surpassing the PlayStation 4 and Game Boy to become the third best-selling video game console of all time. This figure was revealed in Nintendo’s Q3 earnings report, which also announced that 994.30 million Switch units had been sold.

After passing 122.55 million units, the Switch is now second only to the Nintendo DS with 154.02 million units sold and the PlayStation 2 with 159 million units sold.
