Diablo Immortal, Blizzard’s free RPG, has received another content update. February 7th. Update 1.7.3 includes new content, new features, and some fixes for the boss encounters that Blizzard recently talked about. A new limited-time event and a new Battle Pass are also launching this month, so read on to find out what’s in store for you.
First, you will be able to buy more space for your item chest after the update is released. You can unlock two additional tabs for your chest: the first can be purchased for 2,000 Platinum, and the second will appear while the Gift of Abundance is active. You can store items in this second tab for the duration of the gift, and when it expires, you can only take items from the tab, but not place items there. You will need to activate another Boon of Plenty to put more items back into this second tab.
Blizzard says that it is also making some adjustments to the invulnerability phases of certain bosses during their encounters. The Diablo Immortal team explains that similar to how the invulnerability phase between killing Segitus’s left and right legs was removed, the developers were looking for encounters where they could tweak or remove the invulnerability phases to reduce the overall recovery time. the dungeon.
“Boss invulnerability phases interrupt combat, making it one of the most noticeable forms of downtime in a dungeon,” the developers explain. However, they note that these phases are often useful for controlling the tempo and creating space for narrative moments.
“Our goal is to reduce the overall downtime in dungeons, especially during combat, but we don’t want this reduction to affect the player experience,” they continue. “Many of these changes only result in saving a few seconds here and there, but overall they should be noticeable.”
The Perils of the Swamps limited-time event begins on February 8 at 3:00am PST / 6:00am EDT / 11:00am GMT and will last until the same time on February 16.. During this event, you can visit the terrified inhabitants of Bilefen, a swampy network attacked by demons. Help them and you will receive rewards and unlock stages.
The Season 10 Battle Pass starts on February 16 at 3am server time and ends on March 16. You’ll only have a few weeks to complete 40 ranks and challenges, but you can earn legendary gems, shields, grips, and more.
Finally, a new Beyond the Void cosmetic set has arrived. Available to all classes, it features a red meteor theme, replacing your Diablo Immortal character’s normal face with a smoking orb that lights up a headdress covered in spikes and arrows.
