A big patch for Monster Hunter Rise is coming soon, specifically adding new content for the Sunbreak expansion. Update 4 for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Title will be released on February 7th, and Capcom has released the patch notes ahead of schedule to let us all know what is changing in this fantastic cooperative game.

While there are some changes that will affect the base game, most of the additions and changes in the patch that brings Monster Hunter Rise to version 14.0.0.0 are specific to Sunbreak. You’ll have to fight new Elder Dragons (including Iceborne’s main villain Velhana), new quests, and an increased level cap for Anomaly Research.
