SEGA and Relic Entertainment have released a new trailer for Company of Heroes 3, showing off the highly anticipated German Africa Corps and its mobile arsenal of mechanized vehicles and weapons. Debuting in both single-player and multiplayer modes, the Afrika Korps became famous for their prowess in the deserts of North Africa.

Meet the German-Afrika Korps
The Afrika Korps is the most extreme and unorthodox army in the game, suitable for those who like to play aggressively and put pressure on the enemy, benefiting from the synergy between their specialized infantry and armored set. Afrika Korps players can use the Half-Track to quickly deploy troops to respond to new threats or support an offensive, while the versatile Panzer III is the army’s work tank.
The armored reserve system allows the use of the Tiger tank and other heavily armored variants. In the harsh deserts of North Africa, the Afrika Korps also had to rely on its vehicle towing capabilities to move the 88mm Flak 36 anti-tank gun or repair damaged tanks.
Like all factions in Company of Heroes 3, the Afrika Korps has its own combat support groups to solve unique combat missions. Dressed in sober black uniforms, the Italian guastatori are armed with deadly flamethrowers to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies.
The Italian Combined Arms Battle Group fielded several impressive units such as the highly effective Semovente 75/18 assault gun, the Bersaglieri elite infantry and the Carro Armato M13/40 light, fast tank.
