Intel Arc A750 graphics cards are even cheaper, and the price cuts come with driver updates that improve performance by up to 77%. This move should help the blue team’s GPU take on the Nvidia RTX 3060, especially when it comes to performance per dollar.
Needless to say, the Intel Arc A750 entered the race for the best graphics cards with less noise and more brightness, its debut being overshadowed by the launch of the Nvidia RTX 4090. The two GPUs are completely different in terms of performance. but while the green team seems too focused on maintaining a premium position, the Alchemist line has slowly but surely established itself as an entry-level champion.
In the Q1 2023 update video, Intel scientist Tom Petersen and graphics marketer Ryan Schrout talk about “significant performance gains” in DirectX9 games. Based on internal testing, you should see a 43% improvement in games like CS:GO with the Alchemist board, and the A750 is now $249.
If you’re a fan of Counterstrike, you’ll be happy to know that Intel has your back because it believes DX9 gaming is more important than ever. Thanks to the new 4068 driver, you will be able to increase the frame rate from an average of 195 to 347 fps when using the A750, which is sure to make one of the best FPS games even more fun to play.
Of course, the latest Intel graphics drivers improve performance across the board, and you’ll obviously see frame rate improvements from 10 to 77% while gaming at 1080p. Not bad considering it reportedly offers 52% more performance per dollar than the RTX 3060 and costs $50 less than the RTX 3050 at Newegg.
For now, it seems like Intel is the only company actively pursuing entry-level PC gaming, as we’re still waiting for the Nvidia RTX 4060 and AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT. Even if those options arrive in 2023, RTX 4060 Ti rumors suggest it will cost more than its predecessor, with price and performance on par with the RTX 3070. A cheaper solution.
