The Diablo 3 Season 28 start date is almost here, and you can dive into the world of Public Test right now. Patch 2.7.5 for Diablo 3 is now live in the Public Test Realm, which means you can start exploring the new Altar of Rites right away and unlock its powerful sigils.
As a quick update, Season 28 focuses on a spooky new structure you’ll find in Rotten Forest called the Altar of Rites. If you interact with it, you’ll find a new menu showing 26 sigils and three new legendary potion powers. Once unlocked, you will receive powerful buffs for all characters on your account until the end of the season.
During the PTR period that starts now, you will receive unique perks such as additional experience gain and double Blood Shards. The Djank Mi’em vendor has some new gear for you to try out – he feeds Mi’em Blood Shards and will give you a bag full of new experimental Legendary items that Blizzard wants to try out.
Blizzard also encourages players to try “breaking things” at this point in the PRT and to focus on certain parts of the update to see how well they work, like seeing which components affect your character class the most and not. any. behave this way, as expected.
