The new Tower of Fantasy Alyss demo video shows the new character in action and gives Frost Mains plenty of reason to look forward to the Tower of Fantasy 2.3 update. The next character is coming very soon, giving fans of the open-world anime game another drill, and his abilities, achievements, and interactions will make him the perfect addition to Frosty’s team and a great choice for free-to-play gamers. . . .
To be honest, it only took one glimpse of her fancy playstyle to sell Alyss, but looking at Alyss’s list of weapon effects, achievements, and abilities provides plenty of reasons to be impressed with her potential. The new demo video also gives you great character building recommendations if you want to build around Alyss or add her to an existing team.
Alyss offers a wide variety of combos with her Swan Arc and Sweeping Combo strings, and her Sweeping Dive is a nice dive for approaching enemies from above. Her Waltz’s attack grants her a temporary hyperbody, making her immune to crowd control effects, as does her Dancing Flash combo, the latter of which also provides her own control in the form of strong suspension. On top of that, using weapon abilities or keeping Alyss in a hidden state for four seconds will make her immune to damage from her next Dancing Flash combo.
Dodging with Alyss puts her in a dance form where she can deal significant damage and block opponents with a combo attack. You can also hold dodge to enter a dormant state, turning Alyss into a fast-moving butterfly that explodes back into her normal form, dealing damage and freezing nearby enemies for two seconds.
The real shining star of Alyss’s arsenal is her Chilling Field ability. This pulls in nearby enemies and heavily suspends them in an icy field that lasts for 30 seconds. This area enhances Frost weapon firing abilities and speeds up Alyss’ hidden status move, and also applies a buff called Dimensional Slash after dealing 12 on-hit effects with her Steadfast Wing weapon on the field. Space Slash will deal damage to all nearby targets every two seconds and last for 25 seconds or until the field is cleared.
The perfect combination with this is to upgrade Alyss to 1 star. When using the frost weapon ability on the ice field, Alyss will be summoned to cast her Starry Night Bolt ability (which gives damage, delay, cast immunity, and removes debuffs), as well as to reroll the ability of weapon that caused the process ability. This will also count towards activating any of your other explosion-triggered effects.
Alyss’s ability to rally enemies is an incredibly welcome buff for Frost Mains, as it’s often difficult for her teams to do so with current rosters. Her strongest combo ability, only available at 1-star level, also means she’s a great choice if you’re someone who doesn’t want to spend money, as she’s fairly easy to obtain and will have a significant impact on your team’s strength. . rotation efficiency.
As for how to pair up Alyss, Lin, and Saki Fuwa, she’s a great choice: the latter offers 1-star weapon skill cooldown removal, which pairs well with Chilling Field. The extra freeze damage gained from using Ice Blasts on Chilling Field works great with Saki Fuwa’s Splash, and also works well with Tsubasa’s short cooldowns if you’d rather mess with her. Hotta also offers several suggested lineups, though the video commentary indicates that the Lean team should show the Lean and Sobek (not Meryl) matrices.
We’ll see how his final form stacks up on the Tower of Fantasy tier list when update 2.3 is released. In the meantime, keep an eye on the upcoming Tower of Fantasy banners to see when you can get your hands on Alyss and the other characters.
