Rush Hi-Fi System Requirements: Recommended PC Specs

System Requirements For Hi-Fi Rush light enough and you won’t need the best graphics card to play a fast-paced game. It’s also listed as “playable” in Valve’s Steam Deck, so you can take Tango Gameworks’ surprise release on the go with your portable gaming PC.

Bethesda’s bold new game looks like a successor to JetSet Radio, but Hi-Fi Rush’s PC specs call for something a little better than the Dreamcast. You’ll need a GPU that matches an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 560 or equivalent with at least 4GB of VRAM. Pair one of these cards with 8GB of memory and a CPU like the Intel Core i5-6500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 and you’re good to go, but balancing frame rate and visuals.

Aiming for Hi-Fi Rush’s recommended specs will help make the top rhythm game contender look and feel the way Tango Gameworks intended. The developer is replacing the offered cards with slightly higher spec options like the GTX 1050 Ti and RX 570, but luckily you won’t have to buy more RAM for your rig as 8GB will still suffice.

Whether you meet or exceed the Hi-Fi Rush computer requirements above, you’ll need to free up 20 GB of hard drive space. The spec sheet doesn’t explicitly mention switching to an SSD, but if you’re also planning to play games like Dead Space Remake, investing in the best gaming SSD is probably a wise call.

System requirements are stricter than ever, and Square Enix recently received some negative feedback about Forspoken’s demanding PC specs. While big-budget releases are likely to continue down this path, Hi-Fi Rush proves that in 2023 you can still create ultra-stylish games and avoid high recommendations.

If you have PC Game Pass, you can get Hi-Fi Rush for free right now. However, Steam Deck owners will need to purchase them from Valve’s store to get in on the rhythm action, since you can’t download games to a portable device using Microsoft’s subscription service.

Of course, you can still learn how to get Xbox Game Pass on the Steam Deck because you can access the subscription library via cloud streaming. This requires you to upgrade to Microsoft’s “Ultimate” level, but if you’re a complete beginner, you can get your first month for as little as $1.
