Microsoft Developer_Direct is here, and we’re taking a fresh look at the PvP and gameplay of Minecraft Legends, a new strategy game based on the colossal world of Mojang creation games. We’ve also received a confirmed release date for Minecraft Legends.
The Xbox Developer_Direct storefront was filled with announcements and news for games like Redfall, Forza Motorsport 8, and Elder Scrolls Online, as well as trailers for Minecraft Legends, a new take on Mojang’s creative games.
Minecraft Legeds will be released on April 18, 2023.
Here’s the official word for what you’ll see next:
“Mojang Studios will present a preview of PvP multiplayer in Minecraft Legends, the upcoming action-packed strategy game from the creators of Minecraft. Developed in partnership with Blackbird Interactive and released this spring, check out exclusive gameplay footage at Developer_Direct.” So expect player vs player action.
Minecraft Legends PvP features two teams of up to four players where you have to destroy the other team’s base, with crossplay and online multiplayer. You will share your army and resources with your entire team, while wisely dividing your roles, from gathering resources to building an army.
The map will be randomly generated every game, so the match flow will be different every time. Piglin’s army will also go after both teams, so you will have to fight against both forces. Fighting both forces will force your team to constantly change tactics, so keep an eye out.
