It is still too early to see the best forgotten constructions, but we can go through all the currently leaked information about magic and how it works on your character to influence the build. You only have access to one type of magic during the game’s opening hours, but as you progress you’ll learn how to use different magic items to help you fight and pull off good parkour moves.
As one of the first major releases this year, Forspoken has a chance to surprise us, and it has a lot to do with the potential of the RPG combat system. By combining your skills with equipment, you can create powerful Forspoken builds to quickly take down your enemies or dodge them when enemy attacks are too intense for you.
Forgotten constructions and types of magic.
There are four different types of magic in Forspoken, each associated with one of the main elements:
- Purple – earth magic
- Red – fire magic
- Blue– water magic
- Green – wind magic
So far, we have only received confirmations on purple and red magic spells. They are further divided into several types: offensive spells (apart from the quick attack spell) with three different levels, defensive spells, parkour spells, and other spells (some of which may have upgradeable versions). Here are all currently known Forspoken spells:
purple magic spells
attack spells
- Shooting – a quick attack spell that throws rocks. You can also charge it up to unleash more powerful attacks.
- serial shooting – shoots a group of explosive stones.
- shield bash – Creates a protective shield when running, breaking when released.
- scattered shot – Unleash a continuous stream of stones before launching a powerful long-range projectile.
protection spells
- Essential – sets booby traps.
- Screen – Establishes a force field to repel attacks.
- Turn – Launches a swinging attack that heals you based on the damage it deals.
- filter – Grow plants that cure poisons and heal you.
- link – tethers enemies in brush.
- dispel – grows flowers at your chosen location that pick up stones and throw them at enemies.
- implant – Shoots seeds that, when hit by enemies, deal damage over time for a short time.
parkour spells
- Shirt – Accelerate quickly, pushing off the ground.
- Flow – includes high speed movement and parkour.
- jump – allows you to scale higher walls by pushing them back.
other spells
- nora – send search roots. Keep their magic cooldown based on how much loot they find.
- Be – A projectile spell that summons thorny branches that shoot out in front of you, impaling enemies in a wide area. Increases damage and range up to 2x, dealing poison upon reaching Genesis level 3.
- loosen up – Crafting skills can combine fragments of the same type to increase their level.
- Change – Crafting skills can transform Shard Shards into other types of Shards.
- to return – Crafting skills to increase the amount by which the necklace improves your health.
- Flee – Explodes the ground and sends you back in a damaging explosion, switching to Frey’s magic.
red magic spells

- Slice – A quick attack spell that gives Frey a flaming sword.
- arc cut – Charging the sword causes a spinning attack that bursts into flames.
- explosive cut – throws a flaming sword at any enemy.
- slice of rage – A combined attack directed against an enemy.
protection spells
- bombing – Summons multiple flaming swords to protect you, attacking enemies while charging up other spells.
- Aegis – Summons a purifying flame that removes any attack or defense reduction effects and increases Frey’s attack power.
- Legion – Summons fire warriors to attack enemies.
- Load – A charge spell that knocks back enemies on impact.
- Bombing – Hits enemies hard, causing an explosion that damages all areas in the area.
- fire trap – Boils lava under enemies, boiling on the spot and dealing damage to those inside.
parkour spells
- upload – Climb higher with multiple jumps in quick succession.
- Hurry – Allows for increased speed and parkour simply by pressing the right button.
- Postal Code – Use magic to cling to surfaces to move quickly.
other red spells
- Lighthouse – Illuminates the area to increase your stamina recharge rate, but makes you more visible.
- Fire – an ejection spell that summons a column of fire to spray enemies with magma. This magma stays on earth for a short time. It can be upgraded twice to hit harder and in a wider area, gaining the ability to move at Conflagration level 3.
- Dragged – A ranged attack that hits distant enemies to bring them closer. You switch to Force magic when she does.
- To win – Crafting skills can increase the degree of magical enhancement with a cloak.
