Everyone loves a good deal on Steam, so what about those looking for great deals on the best base building games? It’s no secret that Valve’s PC gaming platform Steam loves good sales, giving you a lot of value on some of the biggest games in the genre and even some hidden gems you might have owned. It seems that base building games are also no exception as a massive sale is about to start.
The term “base building” has an incredibly wide scope here, as you can build theme parks, space stations, growing corporations, zoos, and even defend against waves of infected.
It looks like the Steam Base Builder Fest sale is on and the home page shows a lot of those games, some of which are on sale. Looks like the sale will officially start tomorrow as The Steam sale will run from January 23 to January 30.with discounts on even more games.
You can expect some great base building games to get price cuts on the Steam sale, and the video above mentions games like Frostpunk, Astroneer, Planet Zoo, and This War of Mine.
Since it’s a festival of sorts, you can also expect many different featured, VR, and free-to-play tab games depending on your hardware, budget, and taste. At least all games have a base building element, but you can also expect games like Fallout 76 that let you customize your settlement beyond just exploring the wasteland alone or with friends.
