The upcoming Crusader Kings 3 event pack could have one of three possible themes, and developer Paradox Interactive is asking players to vote on which one they prefer. The Medieval GP game has a big expansion this year, and an event pack is planned for some time later, during the lull between this year’s expansion and the next.
The last event pack was Friends and Foes, and it opened up a new relationship difficulty in Crusader Kings 3. The next pack will be similar in scope, though the exact focus has yet to be determined.
The developers narrowed down their ideas to three possible packages:
- Guardians and supervisors will focus on childhood, perhaps allowing players to take on the role of a child leader or develop the role of a supervisor
- love and lust is self-explanatory, offering “the exploration of more intimate relationships” and creating a list of options for seduction, romance, and marriage.
- villains and vagabonds he would focus on being feared and use the reputation of being terrible to get things done, which sounds like a lot of fun
Voting takes place on the Paradox forums and lasts until January 27, 2:00 am ET / 7:00 am GMT / 8:00 am CET (January 26, 11:00 pm PT). Note that the names on this list aren’t final: the Paradox guys love their alliteration.
I assumed the Crusader Kings 3 community would go all out for Love and Lust, but at the time of writing, that option was last, with Wards and Wardens coming out on top with 135 votes. However, the investigation is still almost a week and a half away, so things can easily change.
