Genshin Impact’s Ayato and Raiden outsell Nahida with days left

The Genshin Impact Ayato and Raiden Shogun banners worked as expected, but they even managed to break Nahida and Yoimiya’s sales record as the anime game progresses to the next update. The Genshin Impact version 3.4 release date is still two days away, giving Ayato and Shogun Raiden even more time to earn additional income on top of the massive sum they’ve already earned.

To say that Ayato and Raiden Shogun are very popular characters is an understatement. This is the first iteration of Ayato since releasing him early last year, and Raiden Shogun is enjoying the second iteration of him, his first since last March. It also outsells its sales with each re-release, so it’s another reminder of its popularity.

Both characters also sit comfortably at the top of what seems like every Genshin Impact tier list thanks to their near unmatched power as primary DPS options. Nahida is also there with them, but this time again lost. It will be interesting to see what happens when Dendro Archon finally gets the first rep out of him.

Ayato and Raiden Shogun have earned around $35,979,211 / £29,509,429 so far, while Nahida and Yoimiya managed to earn around $34,017,290 / £27,900,300 during the same period on 3.2.

The sales figures come from GenshinLab, a site that collects Chinese app store data to give an accurate picture of the buying habits of a large portion of the Genshin Impact player base.

Genshin Impact version 3.3 is coming to an end, which means that the long-awaited Alhaitham banner will soon be available with Yaoyao and Xiao in the first half of the next update. Then, in the second half of patch 3.4, powerful attackers Hu Tao and Yelan will become available.
