Cars with GeForce NOW

The announcement at CES 2023 expands NVIDIA’s in-car infotainment offerings to include products and services that enhance the in-cab experience. Combining NVIDIA’s expertise in gaming and entertainment, GeForce NOW™ can deliver a complete real-time PC gaming experience on software-controlled vehicles that surpasses that of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

The new GeForce NOW™ offering can optimize in-vehicle charging or travel times by allowing front-seat passengers to stream games while the electric vehicle is parked or charging, and back-seat passengers to play games in the back seat when screens are available.

“Accelerated computing, artificial intelligence and connectivity are taking the car to new levels of automation, safety, convenience and enjoyment,” said Ali Kani, Vice President of NVIDIA Automotive. “The ability to stream popular titles from gamers’ libraries, as well as dozens of free games, will take in-car infotainment to the next level.”

GeForce NOW™ uses innovative low-latency cloud streaming technology on GeForce servers to play over 1,000 real-time games, including popular titles such as Plague Tale: Requiem, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, available on major PC game stores such as Steam, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com. The service also includes many of the most popular free games such as Fortnite, Lost Ark and Destiny 2.

“The convergence of automotive and gaming technologies is extremely promising, and GeForce NOW shows how you can bring quality entertainment to spaces that were unthinkable until recently,” said Marcio Aguiar, director of NVIDIA’s corporate division in Latin America.

Car manufacturers step into the game

  • Hyundai Motor Group, which already comes standard with NVIDIA DRIVE in-car infotainment systems for the Hyundai, Kia and Genesis lineups, will include GeForce NOW™ in select vehicle models.
  • BYD, which develops its electric vehicles in NVIDIA DRIVE® Platformpartners with NVIDIA to bring GeForce NOW automotive cloud gaming to the global automotive market.
  • Polestar, which also uses NVIDIA DRIVE centralized computing technology, will provide a cloud gaming service for its electric vehicles.

GeForce NOW™ is available from NVIDIA in North America and Europe, and from GeForce NOW™ Alliance partners in other parts of the world.
