EA Sports announced thatApex Legends of the Global Series (ALGS) will take place in London in 2023. The capital of England is arguably the world’s center for music, entertainment and sports, with a rapidly growing esports scene.
The Split 1 playoffs will take place February 2-5, 2023.The four-day event will be held in person at Copper Box Arena and will see 40 teams compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and valuable playoff points to help teams qualify for the ALGS Championship at the end of the year in the summer of 2023.
Starting today, Thursday, December 22, fans will be able to purchase tickets to watch the Split 1 playoffs at the Copper Box Arena. Day tickets cost between £20 and £40, with tickets for all four days selling for £100.
The Copper Box Arena was built for the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics and has hosted many world-class competitions and top-level esports events such as: RLCS 2021-2022 Spring Split Major Rocket League.
Split 2 Playoffs (June 8-11, 2023) and Year 3 Championship (Summer 2023) will be revealed throughout the new year.
