Destiny 2 Revision Zero owners unlock Sparrow with an exploit

Destiny 2 Revision Zero owners are using an exploit to bypass a time limit feature that should prevent them from shooting the 50 recently introduced security drones in the game. Intent by developers, because the game appears to prevent players from accessing to certain areas of the game where they can find these drones.

The Destiny 2 Exotic Mission Zero Review went live this week for all Destiny 2 Season 19 Pass holders. The weapon in an exotic mission, players quickly realized they could use it to shoot security drones that recently appeared on the map.

Players have decided that shooting all 50 drones with Review Zero will unlock a Seasonal Triumph and, in turn, a reward: a new Exotic Sparrow. However, Bungie hid drones in locations that the team planned to keep out of player reach until the end of the season. Destiny 2 developers sometimes time limit content to spark the action to ensure that new action is constantly being released throughout the season in a live FPS game.

But the Guardians quickly found a solution. Destiny 2’s laser cheat that allows players to bypass door hatches, as well as ricochet projectiles in Revision Zero, allows players to reach otherwise inaccessible areas to fire hidden drones.

Destiny YouTuber Jarv shows players how to use a laser trap to get into a restricted area and shoot one of them.

Shooting at 50 will net you a new Sparrow called Archangel’s Refit. Although it is a unique looking sparrow, players may find it more interesting to unlock the triumph, which would otherwise have to be locked by the game’s time limit measures.

Bungie recently came under fire from players after the developer suggested that the difficulty of hiding secrets from data collectors is one reason the game has relatively few community secrets like Whisper of the Worm Quest. However, Bungie later clarified the statement from him, suggesting that several secrets were included in the game’s new season, which is just an additional challenge that players can complete on top of the game’s seasonal content.
