We’ve seen a lot of great Sims 4 house ideas in our time, but one pretty unique building The Sims 4 eschews the traditional layout entirely to hide all of its rooms underground with a design its creator says is inspired by the similar game. Minecraft. It’s one of the most creative concepts we’ve come across in a long time and certainly offers a lot of inspiration for those who want to bring their own Sims to life.
“Underground Country House” was created by the creator of ParanoiaFantasy and at first glance it seems that you have come across an ordinary country house whose main building has not yet been built. In its place is a rectangular space divided by a fence, with a grid of glass floors suggesting the possibility of something lurking below the surface.
That “something” is a rather dramatic layered floor plan with a rather beautiful garden in the center that receives light from a glass ceiling built into the ground at surface level. There are two open concept living rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s like its own little ecosystem and it looks like it’s going to be a really fun place.
If you’re looking to relocate your Sim family, the Underground Vacation Home is available on the EA The Sims 4 Official Gallery, where you can earn it and explore it in-game.
Once you get the hang of it, The Best Sims 4 Mods offer many additional ways to customize your game. Alternatively, you can spice up your game with user-generated content courtesy of The Best Sims 4 CC if you wish. If you haven’t tried one of the most iconic games of all time, you can play The Sims 4 for free right now, so there’s no reason not to jump in and see what wacky designs you like.
